The Pie Festival of the Women's Social Welfare Society in Italy with the aim of spreading the indigenous culture in exile

On the occasion of the golden jubilee of the victory of Bangladesh and in order to highlight the indigenous culture and the eternal heritage of Bengal to the new generation in exile, the Women's Social Welfare Society Italy has organized the winter cake festival in full swing.


At 3 pm local time on Saturday at the Sundarbans Restaurant Hallroom, a variety of cakes were presented at the Pitha Festival, including the traditional delicious and delicious Chitai Pitha, Patisapta, Phuljhuri, Dim Pitha, Pakan Pitha, Chaipitha and Kulipitha.



Expatriate women from various organizations including Mahila Samaj Kalyan Samiti were present on the occasion. The expatriate women get together and have a conversation with each other centering on the cake festival. This is like a wonderful arrangement of different levels of women dressed in foreign soil.


Chaired by Laila Shah, President of the organization and Syeda Shamima Zaman, General Secretary of the organization, the guests participated in the cake festival as guests. Delwar Hossain, General Secretary of Munshiganj District Association Jewel Ahmed, Acting General Secretary of EPBA Italy Branch Robin Khan, Prominent vocalist Kazi Zakaria, Prominent businessman Fahmida Sultana, Chief Adviser of Nab Jagran Nari Kalyan Samiti Nayna Ahmed, Adviser Ummehani, Women leaders Mausumi Mridha, Sabina Yasmin, Monteverde Women's Welfare Association Italy President Lipi Islam Adviser Jubayera Khatun and leaders of various organizations including Italian citizens. Also speaking among the leaders of the organization were senior co-president Nargis Hawlader, co-president Akhi Seema Kausar, organizing secretary Babli Chowdhury, co-organizing secretary Mehenas Tabbasum Shelley and all the leaders of the organization.



Guests attending the festival enjoyed a variety of delicious cakes served. At this time, they highly praised the Bangladeshi cake. They say that when our expatriate children forget the history of the country, they get lost in the crowd of pizza and fast food. At that very moment, this native cake festival is certainly commendable. The guests also thanked the Women's Social Welfare Association for their support and assured them of their full support.
