Four and a half years after the murder case in Naogaon, the accused was arrested by the RAB

RAB has arrested a man named Aminul Islam alias Aminur almost four and a half years after the murder case of night watchman Mansur Sardar in Manda upazila of Naogaon district.

He was arrested from Bagdob Bazar of Mahadevpur upazila of Naogaon district around 8:30 pm on Thursday.

This information has been revealed in a press release sent from RAB 5 Joypurhat camp.

The arrested accused is Aminul Islam, son of Abdul Jabbar of Valain village.

 

According to the RAB press release, Aminul alias Aminur, the accused in the murder case filed at Manda Police Station on July 4, 2016, has been arrested. The accused was later handed over to Naogaon CID.

According to local sources, Mansur Sardar was temporarily on night watch at the residence of Valain Islamia Darul Uloom Qaumi Hafezia Madrasa. Madrasa next to his house. Abasi had 35/40 students.

On the night of July 3, 2016, after eating at home, he was lying on the verandah of the madrasa at around 11:30. At that time, the miscreants cut the right side of the chest with a sharp weapon and ran away. Later, the locals came and took him to Manda District Health Complex. He was rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Four and a half years later, RAB arrested Aminul, the accused in the murder case.
