In Bhola, the pagan wife cut her husband's fingers, toes and head into pieces. The incident took place at Shiali's house in Pandit's Pol area of Alinagar union in Bhola Sadar upazila on Saturday night. Upon receiving the news, the police recovered the body of the deceased from the spot in the morning. The heretic wife Nurunnahar and her son involved in the incident were arrested.
Police and locals said Farhad Hossain Titob Munsir was married to the daughter of Abdur Rab, a resident of Joygupti village in Ward 7 of Uttar Dighaldi Union in Sadar Upazila 28 years ago. After that, the husband and wife and their three children had a happy family for many years, but in 2013, without the permission of the first wife, Farhad Hossain took Nurunnahar, the daughter of Shiali Bari in the Pol area of Pandit in Alinagar Union of the same upazila, as his wife. From then on, there were family quarrels between the two families.
On the evening of October 23, the day of the incident, Farhad Hossain called Titob on his mobile phone and his second wife Nurunnahan called him at his own house. Then, in the middle of the night, he sprinkles chilli powder on his eyes and first strikes his head randomly with the photos he uses at home. At one stage, Farhad Hossain fell unconscious and fell to the ground. Then he cut off his finger and his right foot and separated it from his body and put it in the kitchen pan.
In the morning, when he saw his wife Nurunnahar in a horrible condition covered with blood in front of the house, the locals rushed to the spot and informed the police. Police then went to the spot and found the frozen body of Farhad Hossain lying on the floor. The body was recovered from there and sent to the morgue of Bhola Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
Investigating officer Bhola Model Police Station SI Mohammad Kabir Hossain Ukil said police had arrested the victim's wife Nurunnahar and her son. The photos and pepper powder used in the incident were seized. The body of the deceased was recovered from the spot and sent to the morgue of Bhola Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
He said the family of the deceased was preparing to file a case with the Bhola police station.
Sudheejan of the area claims that if there is a law on violence against women in the country and there is no law on violence against men in the society. So the image of male abuse is increasing day by day. In this situation, they strongly demanded the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to enact a law on male torture.
