7 Candidates on one stage in Rome City election: Bangladeshi candidates are urged to vote

7 Bangladeshi candidates contesting the October election of City Corporation are running last minute campaigns. At an introductory meeting in Rome, the candidates called on Bangladeshi candidates to cast their votes according to their qualifications, saying they wanted to take Bangladesh to a unique height. KM Lokman Hossain, President and Councilor Candidate of Municipal Council No. 1, Laila Shah, Councilor Candidate of 5th and 12th Municipal Council, MD Shahidullah, Councilor Candidate of Municipal Council No. 12, Shahidulullah, Candidate of Municipal Council No. 1 and 3, Mia, Councilor candidate for Municipality No. 5 Paritam Saha, Municipal Corporation candidate Simne Hossain and Councilor candidate for Municipality No. 6 and Rome City Jumana Mahmud were present.
The meeting was presided over by Minhaj Hossain, the organizer of the introductory meeting and conducted by Lavanya Chowdhury. President of Juba Sangha Arman Uddin Swapan, President of National Online Press Club Afzal Hossain Roman, Senior Journalist Hasan Mahmud and many others spoke. Among the media workers present at the time were Mehenas Tabbasum Shelley, Malik Manzur, Zahurul Haque Raju and many others.
At the introductory meeting, the candidates highlighted their party's program and urged the expatriate Bangladeshis to vote. "We want to take Bangladesh to a unique height through the election of this historic Rome City Corporation," he said.
