The businessman did not return home with treatment at Naogaon Hospital

A businessman named Nur Islam died on his way home from Manda Hospital in Naogaon district. The incident took place at Deluabari Uttarpara village in Kusumba union of the upazila on Tuesday night.

The deceased was identified as Nur Islam, son of late Abdul Khaleq of Deluabari Uttarpara village in Kusumba union of Manda upazila. He used to sell vegetables in Deluabari market.


Nadira Khatun, the eldest daughter of the deceased, said Baba Nur Islam's stomach ached after the acidity increased on Tuesday evening. At this time buy medicine from a shop in the market and eat it. When the acidity level increased further, he was taken to Manda Hospital for treatment. After recovering, he was returning home at night with a discharge from the hospital. When he reached home, he fell ill again and died.


He complained that some locals were complicating the police with misleading information to divert his father's natural death.


Manda Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahinur Rahman said the cause of death of Nur Islam has been discussed. For this reason, his body was recovered and sent to Naogaon Sadar Hospital morgue.
