The Minister of State for Religion has expressed his condolences on the death of renowned scholar, writer and researcher Allama Abdus Salam.

Meanwhile, prayers and condolences were expressed on behalf of 'Bangladesh Darul Arkam Ibtedayi Madrasa Teachers Welfare Society' (Badashiks) and its affiliated organization 'Badashiks Muktijoddha Sontan Sangsad' and for the forgiveness of the departed soul.
Note that the shura meeting was going on from 10 am today. He was appointed as the Director General of Hathazari Madrasa. He was summoned to formally explain this responsibility. Immediately after that he suddenly fainted at 11:30 am. Later, he was taken to the local Upazila Health Complex by ambulance and the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
