Matiar Rahman, a heroic freedom fighter and a member of the 1st ward of the same UP, has been accused of insulting him in a foul language.

According to the complaint, on September 15, the chairman of Mithapur UP, Kabikha Project, started arguing over the purchase of the project for Tk 60,000 between Harunur Rashid and Mamunur Rashid. At one stage of their altercation, freedom fighter and member Matiar Rahman wanted to buy the project with the money. Chairman Firoz Hossain got angry with him and insulted him in obscene and vulgar language. Out of

Bir Muktijoddha and member Matiar Rahman said, "When two members started arguing over the purchase of the project for Tk 60,000, when I wanted to take the project with that money, Chairman Firoz Hossain insulted me in vulgar language." At the direction of the chairman, Mamunur Rashid and Saidur Rahman Helmi members grabbed me and kicked me out of the union council. The insult, ridicule and mockery of a freedom fighter by the UP chairman in vulgar language means that all the freedom fighters of the country have been humiliated. I have informed the matter to the Upazila Nirbahi Officer in writing.

In this regard, Chairman Firoz Hossain said that there was no incident of insulting or insulting him in vulgar language. Asked why a complaint has been lodged against him with the Upazila Nirbahi Officer, he said, "He can lodge as many complaints as he can
