Two drug dealers arrested in a police operation in Naogaon's Raninagar

Naogaon's Raninagar police have arrested Sabib Hossain, 26, accused in multiple cases, along with yaba and ampoules. The arrested is the son of Azizur Rahman of Chakadin village in Sabib upazila. Besides, a young man named Raja Hossain (21) was arrested and a case was filed under section 151 and sent to the court. Son of Bachchu Pramanik of East Balubhara village of Raja upazila.

Raninagar Police Station OC Md Shahin Akand said the operation was carried out on Wednesday night on the basis of secret information that drugs were being sold at three corners of the Upazila Sadar. Sabib was arrested and 10 pieces of yaba and 4 pieces of ampoules were recovered from him. A drug case was filed against Sabib on the same night and he was sent to court on Thursday. OC Md Shahin Akand said that there were three cases including drug case against the arrested Sabib.

On the other hand, Raja Hossain was arrested in a raid in the railway gate area on the same night. A case under Section 151 has been filed against him and sent to the court, the official said.
