Four UPDF terrorists arrested with illegal weapons in Khagrachari

In an operation conducted at Guimara in Khagrachhari, 4 UPDF terrorists were detained along with 1 LG, 1 AMO, 30 illegal posters, 5 mobiles, 1 collection receipt book and Tk 790 in cash.
Late on Monday night, a patrol team led by GSO to Major Tajul Islam of Guimaras Region conducted a special operation from the Bailachhari sign board area and arrested the four with weapons while putting up anti-state posters.
The detainees are Bonsing Chakma, 45, son of Tokka Chakma of Bailachhari area, Juker Marma, 19, son of Raju Marma of Kaukhali in Rangamati, Thoiching Marma, 20, son of Monglapru Marma of Bailachhari area and Ukching, son of Suipa Marma of Matiranga Buddhist temple area. The assailants were later handed over to Guimaras police station with weapons, ammunition and anti-state posters.
Guimara Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Mizanur OC Mohammad Mizanur Rahman confirmed the arrest, saying the four were detained with weapons by members of a joint force led by the army while putting up anti-state posters. A case has been filed against them under the Arms Act at Guimara Police Station and they have been sent to Khagrachhari Court.
