Bangladesh Embassy in Rome Provides Special Services on Holiday, Expatriates Satisfied with Passport and Other Consular Services
Minhaz Hussain, Special Correspondent:
Considering the busy schedules of expatriate Bangladeshis, the Bangladesh Embassy in Rome, Italy, organized a special consular service program even on a public holiday. Under the initiative, expatriates were able to access passport services and various other consular services.
Bangladeshis from different parts of Italy traveled to Rome with their families to take advantage of the special holiday service. Many expatriates said the initiative was particularly helpful because their busy work schedules often make it difficult for them to visit the embassy during regular working days.
After receiving the services, expatriates expressed their satisfaction with the embassy’s initiative. They also called for similar special campaigns and holiday service programs to continue in the future.
Bangladesh Ambassador to Italy A.T.M. Rakibul Haque said the special holiday service was organized with the busy schedules of expatriates in mind. He said the embassy is taking such initiatives to ensure that Bangladeshis living in Italy can receive necessary consular services without having to miss their regular working hours.
He further said the embassy plans to continue organizing similar campaigns in the future to expand and improve services for expatriates. He added that the embassy is taking steps to make consular services more accessible, efficient, and convenient for the Bangladeshi community.
During the campaign, embassy officials met with expatriates who had come with their families, exchanged greetings, and inquired about their experiences and needs regarding consular services.
Expatriates who received services during the holiday program said the initiative was highly timely and beneficial, particularly for working Bangladeshis. They urged the embassy to organize such special service programs on a regular basis.
