Barisal District Association Italy Election Held in Rome with Great Enthusiasm

The much-anticipated election of the Barisal District Association Italy was held in Rome, the capital of Italy, with the spontaneous participation of expatriates from Barisal in a democratic process. The electoral atmosphere was festive, and the entire event was marked by the great interest and enthusiasm of the Bangladeshi expatriates.
The election created a celebratory environment within Rome's expatriate community. Participants included Bangladeshi expatriates from various professions who played an active role in electing the leadership of the Barisal District Association.
After voting from morning until evening, the ballots were counted, and the official results were announced by Chief Election Commissioner Al Amin Bhuiyan. Mehedi Hasan Sohel was elected president with the highest number of votes, Jamal Sardar was elected general secretary, and Jihadul Islam Sajal was elected organizing secretary unopposed.
In a post-election statement, the newly elected leaders expressed their gratitude to all Barisal expatriates and pledged to unite the community and make the association more dynamic and active. They also expressed their hope to carry out all future activities by promoting the culture and heritage of Barisal among the next generation of expatriates.
The event was attended by the organization's chief patron, Shahjahan Talukder, convener Firoz Khan, member secretary Minju Sardar, and other prominent members of the local community, as well as guests from different cities across Italy.
The expatriates from Barisal are hopeful about the new leadership. They believe that this committee will play a significant role in fostering unity and development within the Bangladeshi community abroad.
