Md. Al-Amin, Cumilla (Special Correspondent ):
"Journalists must be wise and responsible in their role of reporting the truth because they are the conscience of the nation and the eyes of democracy," stated Mohammad Abul Hasnat Khan, Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Administrator of the Upazila Parishad. He made the remarks as the chief guest at a farewell reception for Md. Raihanul Islam, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Administrator of Debidwar Municipality, and an introductory meeting for the 45th-anniversary celebration committee of the "Debidwar Upazila Press Club," which symbolizes "glory, tradition, and struggle."
The event was held on Saturday, August 23, in the afternoon at the local 'Diana Restaurant' in Debidwar, Cumilla.
