With the aim of retaining the culture and tradition of Bengal in the diaspora, the largest pitha festival of Dhaka residents in Rome

Bengali culture in diaspora should be developed, nurtured and its practice should be continued through various events, said the organizers of the pitha festival held in Italy organized by the greater Dhaka people.
Children's participation was the first part of this day-long colorful pie festival in a local park in the Italian capital Rome. During this time, children and teenagers highlight Bangladesh by raising colors. There were attractive prizes for all children.
At the end of the children's episode, expatriate women from various women's organizations in Rome displayed various types of pies.
Imrul Kayes, Amir Hussain Mollah and Sohrab Sarkar were invited to this pitha festival. The event was attended by the former president of Greater Dhaka Kriti Ischan Bangladesh Association Noore Alam Siddiqui Bachchu, Hasan Iqbal and other leaders of various social and regional and women's organizations.
The leaders said that this arrangement is to keep the Bengali culture alive in the diaspora and to maintain their mutual relations.
The presence of Italians in particular added a different dimension to the event. The guests said that this bond of tradition and culture of the two countries will encourage the next generation to adopt a healthy culture.
At the end, artist Masud Rana performed music in a wonderful cultural event.
