Newly elected president Mahtab and secretary Alamgir of Awami League greeted flowers at the airport

Bangladesh Prime Minister Awami League Chairperson Sheikh Hasina recently received the written approval of Italy Awami League President Bir Muktijoddha Mahtab Hossain and General Secretary Md Alamgir Hossain arrived at Rome International Airport on Sunday.

Leaders of Awami League and affiliated organizations living in Italy greeted them with flowers and gave them a warm welcome.

Later, in the heart of the capital Rome, Victoria, Tuscolana and Tarpinattara, a Bengali-dominated area, toured various roads with a limousine car especially for the elected president and general secretary with more than half a hundred party vehicles. After the procession, a special meeting was organized with the newly elected president and general secretary in the hall of the local Rasai restaurant. President Mahtab Hossain and general secretary Alamgir Hossain thanked all the leaders and workers present in the meeting. And urged to work unitedly to strengthen the hands of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh People's Leader Sheikh Hasina in the future.

At the end of the meeting, the leaders of the Italian Awami League and its subsidiary organizations greeted and congratulated the newly elected president and general with flowers.
