At a meeting held at the embassy conference hall, Saiful Islam, on behalf of the 1st and 2nd Mini Market Businessmen's Association, kindly demanded that the traders solve various problems. And called on the mayor of Rome to meet urgently to resolve the problem quickly.

In their speeches, the leaders highlighted aspects of their business losses as the current experimental law is in place. They say most of the mini-markets will be closed if the law is enforced. This will affect the traders as well as the economy of Bangladesh. At the time, they urged the ambassador to resolve the issue, subject to discussions with the mayor of Rome.
Ambassador Shamim Ahsan, after a lengthy discussion with the businessmen, assured that he would soon hold a special meeting with the mayor to ask for the solution of various problems of the Roman businessmen.
