Seven members of motorcycle thieves gang arrested in Naogaon, ten vehicles seized

Police have arrested six members of an inter-district organized motorcycle thieves' gang in Naogaon.
They were arrested after conducting raids at various places in Naogaon on Sunday.
During this time 10 stolen motorcycles were seized.
The information was given at a press conference at Naogaon Sadar Model Police Station on Monday afternoon, February 14.
Additional Superintendent of Police Gaziur Rahman told a news conference that a motorcycle belonging to a man named Faridul Islam was stolen from the front of TMSS NGO gate in front of Chokgaurib Primary School of Sadar Police Station on the afternoon of February 2.
He then filed a case with the police. The seven members of the inter-district organized motorcycle thieves' gang were arrested on Sunday after conducting raids in different parts of the city on the basis of the case. During this time, 10 motorcycles stolen at different times in their custody were seized.
He further said that this gang of thieves was stealing motorcycles from different places at different times and selling them in different parts of the country by changing the color of the motorcycle, overlapping the chassis number and engine number. There are several cases against the arrested in the police station.
Additional Superintendent of Police Sabina Yasmin, Sadar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nazrul Islam and other officials were present on the occasion.
