Muktijoddha Mor was named and its foundation stone was laid at Baliyachara village (former Sudan Mor Bazar) in Bhanga upazila of Faridpur.

On Friday (January 26) morning, the village of Baliyachara in the upazila was named "Muktijoddha Mor" and its foundation stone was inaugurated.

If you want to know about naming "Muktijoddha Mor", the son of the heroic freedom fighter Hafez Maulana Md. Sakhawat Hossain (MSS) said, "Because of the previous name, we often had to face questions / get confused." God willing, it will not happen now. The village has been named "Muktijoddha Mor" in support of the respected heroic freedom fighters and the general public. Everyone is happy to have this name.

It may be mentioned that during the Great Liberation War of 1971, at least 10 brave soldiers from Baliachara village took part in the liberation war with training in India. At this corner of the village, the heroic freedom fighters held a "night hold" against the Pak aggressors. That is why the name "Muktijoddha Mor" was given in honor of the heroic freedom fighters.
