Honors Masters teachers boycott classes and strike to demand quick MPO enrollment

Class boycott and sit-in strike has been observed at the initiative of Bangladesh Private College Honors Masters Teachers Federation to demand MPO registration of Honors Masters teachers recruited and working as per rules in private colleges affiliated to the National University.
As part of the central program, Vijay Smarani University College held a two-day strike on November 24 and 25.
At that time all the teachers including the members of the board of directors of the college agreed on the program.
In addition, the program was carried out in 315 colleges across the country.
Central President Haroon Aur Rashid said,
The MPO of Honors Masters teachers working in the same process as the MPO has been given to the degree III teachers.

He said the demand for MPO enrollment of Honors Masters teachers in improving the quality of education is time consuming.

Notable colleges are Majid Adarsh College, Kurigram, Babuganj College, Barisal, Fulbaria College, Mymensingh, Bar Aulia College of Chittagong, Nazir Hat College, Mostafizur Rahman College, Pahartali College. Chandina Women's College, Comilla. Jessore Suburban College.
The sit-in program will continue from November 30, 2021 until the announcement of MPO registration at the main gate of Gazipur National University with the same demand.
