Human chain against a teacher for allegedly molesting two female students

The lecturer was accused of molesting two female students during a class at Guimaras Government College. There is a proverb in Bengali, education is the backbone of the nation, but it is true that at present some teachers are using this profession as a signboard and engaging in misdeeds. The accused teacher is Arjun Kumar Nath, a lecturer in the biology department of the college. Students of Guimaras Government College staged a sit-in from 8:30 am on Saturday, March 5, demanding the removal and punishment of the accused teacher.

The victim is a 2nd year science student at Guimaras College and a 2nd year business student. It is learned that the students were doing group study together after the second year English class on Thursday, March 3. At that time, lecturer Arjun Kumar Nath, while preparing for the essay competition on March 8, insulted the two students in various ways while returning after the announcement.

The students went home without any immediate protest. When they went home and informed the family about all the incidents, the family members complained to the college principal on Friday and on Saturday.

Later, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., the Guimara Government College principal secretly confronted the accused teachers and victimized students in the teacher's auditorium and heard about the allegations.

Lecturer Arjun Kumar Nath, who was accused of questioning other senior teachers of the college at that time, admitted to touching the bodies of the two students.

Nazimuddin, principal of Guimaras Government College, said such an incident was unacceptable at Guimaras Government College. However, lecturer Arjun Kumar Nath has taken all the blame and apologized for the incident in front of all the students. After that, accepting all the demands of the students, the lecturer Arjun Kumar Nath was temporarily released from all the activities of the college for one month. He assured the students that a new lecturer in biology would be appointed within the next ten days.

The guardian of the accused girl said, "We want justice for the indecency of our daughter." It is incredible that a teacher can do so much good. We are concerned about the safety and future of our daughters.

When I asked the accused teacher Arjun Kumar Nath about the matter, I jokingly slapped the students and senior teachers. I had no ill intentions.
