Courtesy call on Ambassador Shamim Ahsan by Sheikh Russell National Council for Children and Adolescents Italy

A discussion and introductory meeting was held between the leaders of Sheikh Russell National Child and Adolescent Council Italy Committee with the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Italy Md. Shamim Ahsan.

Sheikh Russell National Children and Adolescent Council Italy President Habibur Rahman Nazmul, General Secretary Jamilul Arif Jamil, Organizing Secretary Shariful Islam Sharif, Senior Co-President Alam Mahmud, Co-President Md. Mehedi Hasan Masud, 1st Member Abdul Wadud were present at the meeting held in the conference room of the embassy on Friday. Co-President Md. Robel Hasan, Rome Metropolitan General Secretary Jasim Hawlader, Honorary Member Abdul Ali, Women's Affairs Secretary Mrs. Azadi, ID Specialist Setu, Ilma and others.

During the discussion, various activities of Sheikh Russell National Child and Adolescent Council Italy Branch and Central Committee of Bangladesh were discussed. The papers signed by the Hon'ble Prime Minister (Approved) were handed over to Sheikh Russell Jatiya Shishu Kishore Parishad Central Committee Chairman Rakibur Rahman and Secretary General KM Shahidullah and Law Secretary Barrister Jahangir Hossain Rony. And protested against the fake committee of Lion Mojibur Rahman. Lion Mojibur Rahman's committee also handed over the canceled papers from the Ministry of Social Welfare.

Bangladesh Ambassador to Italy Md. Shamim Ahsan expressed hope that he would move forward by keeping an eye on the issue considering all aspects. And he assured all possible cooperation in setting up a Bengali school in the name of the proposed Sheikh Russell.

At the end, the leaders of Sheikh Russell National Children and Adolescent Council greeted the Ambassador Md. Shamim Ahsan with flowers.
