Maulana Ashraful Hasan Saki was felicitated on behalf of the Barabil Student Association of Ramu, Cox's Bazar District, for being shortlisted for the Arabic Language Program at the University of Qatar.

The reception was held on Saturday (September 25) at 3 pm at Barabil Government Primary School.

Ashraful Hasan Saki is the grandson of late Maulana Nazir Ahmed of Barabil village in Gorjonia union of Ramu upazila, son of Maulana Mahmudul Hasan and nephew of Dr. Allama Sheikh Harun Azizi An Nadvir. He is working as a teacher of Darul Maarif Madrasa in Chittagong.

He was given a reception and a memento of honor by the Barabil Student Association for his nomination in the Arabic Language Program at the University of Qatar.

Sheikh Allama Harun Azizi Nadvi, Founder Director of Al Nazir Foundation and Senior Mahaddis of Jamia Islamia Babunagar was present as the Chief Guest at the reception.

Eminent scholar Allama Hafez Abdul Haq was present as the chief guest.

General Secretary of Al Nazir Foundation Maulana Abdur Razzak, Awami League leader Yahya Chowdhury, UP member Md. Nurul Islam, social worker Shahidullah Bappi and others were present as special guests.

All the members of the association and dignitaries were present at the congratulatory and greeting function organized by the Barabil Student Association.
