A health inspector was killed in a motorcycle accident at Badalgachhi in Naogaon.

A man has died in a motorcycle accident at Gobarchampa in Badalgachhi upazila of Naogaon district.

He died at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital at 11.09 am on Monday, July 11.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Shahadat Hossain (55), son of Elahi Box of Jagatnagar village under Gochampar in Badalgachhi upazila of Naogaon. He was working as a health inspector in Badalgachhi.

Nur Alam Siddique, the youngest son of the late Abul Kashem Principal, a close relative of the deceased Shahadat Hossain, said that the uncle of the deceased Shahadat went out on a motorcycle at around 6.15 pm on Eid day to distribute the meat of the sacrifice to the neighbors. He was rushed to Badalgachhi Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctor referred him to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. He breathed his last at 11:09 am on Monday (July 11).
